Creative Teachers Event

20th October 2008, Tate Modern – Creative Teachers INSET SEMINAR

Following on from the success of SOWF’s Head Teacher’s and Arts Director’s Reception we are delighted to announce details of the Creative Teacher’s INSET Seminar that will take place on Monday 20 October at Tate Modern. The event will be a FREE, fun and informative seminar for creative teachers and Cultural Quarter partners designed to continue the dialogue between schools and arts organizations in order to bring about more creative opportunities for young people in Southwark and Lambeth.

We would like to invite two teachers from each school to join education teams from across the Cultural Quarter to experience a taste of what some of these organisations can offer schools. Each session will be based around a creative theme which we hope will encourage collaborative dialogue between schools and arts professionals.

You can choose to attend for a half or full day as the taster sessions will be repeated in the afternoon.
